We are like no other used bookstore you’ve ever been to and we say this with utter confidence! Why? Because we not only have thousands of affordable, enticing, pre-loved books but we’re clean and well organized too! We work hard to present the books you want in an easy-to-find arrangement, and if that fails you we also provide a staff of uniquely well-read and helpful individuals. We liken our store to a constantly revolving treasure trove where new stock arrives (and departs) daily. Never a dull moment nor an empty shelf as we’re filled to the brim with modern & vintage books of all genres including, but not limited to:

Store Credit
Yes! We will (most likely) take your old books off your hands and send you out the door with credit, good as cash, at this store and Back of Beyond Bookstore. So stop hoarding, clean out your shelves, and share your treasures!

Hours of Operation
Summer Hours: 9am-9pm, 7 days a week
Winter Hours: 10am-6pm, 7 days a week (November& December)
10am-6pm, Tuesday - Saturday ( January & February)
Store Credit Policy
We offer store credit (not cash) for a huge variety of books; the credit is valid both here and at Back of Beyond Bookstore.
We offer credit worth 25%-50% our re-selling price. Generally we price books at half the original cover price but, for a variety of reasons, this isn’t always the case and the credit we offer will reflect these adjustments.
Credit is determined on a subjective basis.
For books we accept, general guidelines are as follows:
Mass market books: $0.50 – half our selling price.
Trade paperback books: $1 – half our selling price
Hardcover books: $2.00 - half our selling price
Children’s picture books: $0.25 - half our selling price
Coffee Table/cookbooks: 25%- half our selling price.
We will not give credit for:
- Books in poor condition (torn, dirty, smelly, damaged, excessively written in, etc.)
- Books published outside our chosen age parameters.
- Books that we subjectively feel are un-sellable.
- Advanced Readers Copies ( ARC’s) or Unedited Proofs.
- Books we have too many of already.
- Books previously purchased at this store but that now fall into any of the above categories.
